The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has called on voters in the Ashanti Region to reflect on their current economic struggles and vote for a change in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd in Kofiase in the Mampong Constituency, he urged the electorate to choose progress and accountability to reset the country’s trajectory.
“The last eight years have been tough for many of you due to the rising cost of living, lack of jobs, and mismanagement of the economy has left families struggling to make ends meet. I’m asking you to vote not out of fear or for material gain but based on the realities of your lives,” he said.
Mahama’s tour in the region includes stops in Ejura in the Ejura-Sekyedumase Constituency, Wiamoase in Afigya Kwabre East, and several other constituencies, including Nsuta, Ahenkro, and Buoho.
