Thousands of supporters and sympathizers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) thronged the streets of Daboya on Saturday, November 30, 2024, for the “Possibility Health Walk.” The event provided an opportunity for the party’s leadership and parliamentary candidate to interact with constituents while promoting physical activity, community engagement, and peaceful elections.
The District Chief Executive for North Gonja District, Hon. Adam Eliasu, who participated in the event, emphasized the importance of the health walk in fostering peaceful elections and strengthening the NPP’s chances of retaining the Daboya-Mankarigu Parliamentary seat.
“This health walk showcases our commitment to peaceful elections. I encourage all citizens to exercise their right to vote on December 7 without fear of violence or intimidation,” Hon. Eliasu stated.
Mohammed Issah, the NPP’s Savannah Regional Secretary, expressed optimism about the party’s electoral prospects in the region. Speaking to newsalertgh.com, he highlighted the significance of such events in bolstering the party’s dominance in constituencies like Daboya-Mankarigu, Damongo, and Salaga North.

“The ‘Possibility Health Walk’ is one of our strategies to engage the electorate and reinforce our message of development. We are confident of securing key constituencies in the Savannah Region during this election,” Issah noted.
As the December 7 polls draw closer, the NPP continues to roll out campaign activities across the Savannah Region to energize its supporters and solidify its base.
