The General Secretary of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, is set to embark on an extensive campaign tour in the Volta Region to garner support for former President H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC’s parliamentary candidates ahead of Ghana’s December 7th general elections.
The tour, which begins tomorrow, is part of the NDC’s strategy to secure a decisive win and move forward with the Resetting Ghana Agenda — a national initiative to rebuild and transform the country for the better.
As part of the campaign, Fifi Kwetey will engage with the electorate through a series of high-profile activities, including a radio interview aimed at directly connecting with the people and emphasizing the critical importance of their votes. Additionally, Mr Kwetey will hold key meetings with traditional leaders to reinforce the NDC’s commitment to working collaboratively with all sectors of society in building a prosperous Ghana.
A significant highlight of the tour will be Mr Kwetey’s meeting with the Standing Committee of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, where he will engage with traditional authorities and seek their endorsement and support for the NDC’s candidates.
The campaign tour will also feature rallies in key constituencies, including a major event in Ketu South and a regional rally in Hohoe, where Fifi Kwetey will address supporters, stressing the party’s vision for inclusive development and growth across the region.
This tour represents a key moment for the NDC to reaffirm its commitment to inclusive development and unite the region in support of a brighter future for Ghana.
