Ahead of the 2024 general elections, the Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, who also serves as the Majority Leader in Ghana’s 8th Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has organised a massive #AsedaWalk in his constituency.
The walk sent a strong message of hope and unity ahead of the 2024 general elections, as thousands gathered to show support for the Effutu MP’s vision, demonstrating the growing momentum behind his campaign.
Thousands of constituents defied the vagaries of the weather and turned up in their numbers to participate in the health walk held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
With #AsedaWalk, Mr Afenyo-Markin engaged with citizens, listened to their concerns, and championed their causes.
The colourful event displayed love and support for the incumbent member of parliament, with water being poured on him, symbolizing victory.
Delivering a speech, he called on the constituents to vote for Dr. Bawumia and his running mate come December 7, 2024.
Taking to his social media page on Facebook, he quoted: “#AsedaWalk Evil was defeated today. Righteousness triumphed.”
