Ghanaians Yearn for Mahama’s Return, Reject ‘Deceptive’ Bawumia’s Smartphone Promises – Adongo

Isaac Adongo, the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, has emphatically stated that Ghanaians are clamouring for the return of former President John Mahama, eschewing the notion of a leader who would prioritize giving smartphones on credit to Ghanaian youth rather than creating sustainable job opportunities for them.

According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer boasts a distinguished track record of implementing policies that tangibly benefit the ordinary citizen, in stark contrast to the incumbent administration’s unfulfilled promises.

During a radio interview in Bolgatanga, Adongo articulated, “Ghanaians are unequivocally yearning for Mahama’s leadership, not someone who would be preoccupied with selling phones. We desire a president who will foster job creation for the youth, rather than importing excavators that perpetuate galamsey operations.”

“We seek a leader who will safeguard the public purse with integrity, rather than preside over its plunder. We demand honesty and transparency, not duplicity and deception.”

Adongo’s remarks come on the heels of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s scathing critique of Mahama, alleging incompetence and a lack of vision for the nation’s future.
