Former Sports Minister, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, has strongly criticized the Akufo-Addo-led government for imposing severe economic hardship and unprecedented challenges on Ghanaians.
In an interview with Accra-based TV3, Mr Afriyie-Ankrah lambasted the current administration for plunging the nation into economic turmoil, characterized by rampant unemployment, leaving the youth feeling hopeless and disenfranchised.
He boldly declared that the Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia administration has catastrophically collapsed all sectors of the Ghanaian economy, necessitating a visionary leader like John Mahama to reverse the country’s fortunes and restore prosperity.
Hon. Afriyie-Ankrah also highlighted the strategic significance of hosting the NDC campaign launch in Tamale, now a stronghold of the party. With unwavering confidence, he predicted a resounding victory for John Mahama in the 2024 elections, proclaiming that JM will triumphantly return to the Jubilee House.
