The Majority Leader, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has pledged his utmost commitment to serving Mother Ghana diligently.
This follows his swearing-in as the new Board Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Ministry of Energy’s premises, was presided over by the outgoing Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who has been elevated as the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate for the December polls.
Shortly after the event, the Effutu MP took to his social media handle to express his elation at the opportunity given to him to contribute to national development.
“I was sworn in as ECG Board Chairman today. I remain resolute and committed to serving our country Ghana. May God be my guide,” he said.
