A 37-year-old man, Kwabena Ebo, is battling for his life and crying for help after having sex with his ex-girlfriend in the bush at Gomoa Dawurampong in the Central Region.
The young man has been afflicted with severely swollen testicles, a condition that began after the sexual encounter a decade ago.
The bizarre incident, according to Ebo, occurred at Gomoa Dawurampong in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region. Recounting his ordeal in an interview with Accra-based Onua FM, Ebo explained that the incident happened about 10 years ago while his wife had just given birth to their newborn baby.
He says that after visiting the farm to fetch some cassava for his wife, his ex-girlfriend, who had threatened him after he ended their relationship, came to the farm and seduced him into having sexual intercourse with her.
Following the incident, Kwabena says he has never had peace regarding the health of his manhood, despite securing the services of a herbalist pastor to perform rituals on the very farm where the act took place.
“I was working at Kasoa and my wife gave birth and asked me to harvest some cassava from the farm for her. My ex-girlfriend had threatened me to ‘wait and I’ll see’ but I never took her seriously. So, she came over to the farm when I went to harvest the cassava. She said she was coming to fetch some firewood.”
“She did not have any underpants and showed me her private parts. All of a sudden I don’t know what came over me and I had sex with her in the bush. So I started having this pain when I urinated. It started like a bilharzia.”
“So initially we were told to go and see the lady but my family said that would be costly so we should go and perform the rituals on the farm. We had a pastor who is also a herbalist and we procured all the needed items to go and perform the rituals.”
“We were left with a balance of GHC200.00 to give the pastor and he said if we don’t pay, the thing will never go. But the ritual actually didn’t work for me because I had no faith in it. So, I need help in order to get relieved from my situation,” he narrated.
Despite numerous attempts to find a cure, including visiting pastors and herbalists, Ebo’s condition has worsened, with his testicles continuing to enlarge. Confined to his room and barely able to move, Ebo has appealed to Ghanaians for any assistance possible to help alleviate his suffering and end his pain.
