Multiple news outlets have reported the murder of the founder and CEO of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel popularly known as Jirapa Dubai in the Upper West Region.
The lifeless body of the owner of the hotel was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, February 11, with signs suggesting he had suffered gunshot wounds inflicted by unidentified assailants.
The shocking news of Mr. Johnson’s alleged murder was disclosed via a Facebook post by Kennedy Mornah, a regional reporter believed to have a close relationship with the deceased CEO.
“Owner of Jirapa Dubai allegedly murdered? How did we get here? A very sad way indeed to begin the year,” Mornah lamented on social media.
While the motive behind the gruesome murder remains unclear, some unconfirmed reports are linking it to chieftaincy disputes in the Jirapa District, Mr Johnson’s hometown.
