Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has reached a significant milestone, marking Day 10 in her extraordinary Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon. Having dedicated more than 220 hours to this unprecedented challenge, Chef Failatu stands on the brink of culinary history.
From the early hours of her ambitious endeavour on the eve of 2024, Chef Failatu embarked on a culinary journey that captured the attention of food enthusiasts worldwide. Day after day, she has showcased not only her exceptional cooking skills but also her unyielding commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the kitchen.
The current record of 119 hours and 57 minutes, was achieved by Alan Fisher from Ireland, who set the record in 2023.
The Guinness World Record attempt has seen the Tamale-based Chef preparing a diverse array of dishes, each reflecting her creativity and innovation. From breakfast delights to gourmet dinners, she has continuously pushed herself to explore new flavours and techniques, captivating the taste buds of those who have been following her incredible journey at the Modern City Hotel in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale.
