He announced that Asaase would be introducing exciting and relevant experiences in the future, including dynamic transformations to the Asaase Breakfast Show, enhanced news and current affairs programmes with a focus on investigative journalism, and expanded coverage of sports, entertainment, and lifestyle.

“As we move into the new era for Asaase, I am thrilled to unveil even more exciting and relevant experiences that we will be rolling out. To begin, the Asaase Breakfast Show has undergone a dynamic transformation, featuring engaging discussions, thought-provoking interviews and lively debates on the issues that matter to most Ghanaians. It is refreshed, reloaded, recharged and invigorating,” he said.

“We have also enhanced the Asaase News and current affairs platforms to bring you real-time updates and in-depth analysis of the most pressing issues, with an additional focus on investigative journalism and public interest campaigns. In addition to these developments, Andah announced the upcoming launch of a new Akan-based broadcast experience on 107.3 in Accra, which aims to captivate and engage the audience.

“Finally, I am thrilled to announce an exciting addition to the Asaase family in the upcoming year: an Akan-based broadcast experience on 107.3 in Accra. This new station aims to provide a unique broadcast experience that will captivate and engage our audience,” Andah said.

Gabby Otchere-Darko, the chairman of Asaase Broadcasting Company and the Asaase Foundation, emphasized the foundation’s commitment to improving kidney health and access to treatment.

He appealed to the Ghana Health Service and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to explore avenues to make kidney care services affordable for Ghanaians and highlighted the foundation’s dedication to making a meaningful impact in healthcare, education, and community development.

“Receiving dialysis in a week is mind-boggling if you get it here. Not many Ghanaians can survive the cost of it. I plead with the State and in particular the NHIA; I understand you have limited resources but is there any way we can stretch that to support, even subsidise the cost of receiving dialysis,” Mr Otchere-Darko appealed.

Representatives from beneficiary institutions expressed their appreciation for the donation, highlighting the significant impact it would have on their ability to serve the community. They emphasized the importance of partnerships with organizations like Asaase Broadcasting Company and the Asaase Foundation in improving healthcare outcomes and saving lives.

The dialysis machines were donated by St Helier Hospital, in the UK and were coordinated by Anita Abena Amoako, a kidney transplant patient living in the same country.
